Socially responsible and environmentally friendly, Pray & Play is Phase I of IV of our multi-year vision. Phase I will pave the way for fostering intergenerational connections, bolstering community pride and creating attractive green spaces.

What is the significance of planting a tree?
Socially responsible and environmentally friendly, tree planting is a very symbolic act of community building on many levels.
Fostering intergenerational connections, children who plant a tree today with their parents & grandparents, will one day nurture that same tree in the presence of their own children.
Just as the founders of the Sikh Society of Calgary, almost 50 years ago, laid down the vision and foundation for building a place of worship, we are asking you, a new generation of Sevadars, to come forth and lay down your own roots to create a living legacy
